4. Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt and Nebraska’s AG likened Colorado to a drug cartel while arguing before the U.S. Supreme Court.
5. Oral Roberts University required all incoming freshmen to wear Fitbit fitness tracking devices that reported to their D2L gradebook, automatically logging aerobics points.
6. Nevada native Ammon Bundy and a group of militia members seized and illegally occupied facilities at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge.
7. Kentucky County Clerk Kim Davis, who refused to issue marriage licenses to same sex couples, attended the State of the Union speech in January.
8. The Oklahoma Libertarian Party received enough votes to retain party recognition for the 2018 election cycle.

13. The FDA proposed a crackdown on home-based soap makers in response to new regulations sponsored by California US Senator Dianne Feinstein.
14. Army Gen. Mark Milley and Marine Gen. Robert Neller want women to be required to register for the selective service at age 18 instead of ending the requirement for everyone.
15. Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was accused of “disrespecting” the National Anthem at Super Bowl 50 because he stood quietly and did not place his hand over his heart.

22. CIA leaves explosive material on a bus that transported children after a K-9 training exercise.
23. City of Austin, Texas ran Uber and Lyft out of Austin with onerous new life sucking regulations.
24. Oklahoma passed a texting and driving ban and found it almost impossible to enforce.
25. Ivy League economist Guido Menzio was ethnically profiled and interrogated for doing math on American Airlines flight because a passenger thought he was writing in Arabic.
