Trump Voters Have Most Distorted View of Crime in America

FACTS NO LONGER SEEM TO MATTER... I Have Proof When one looks at the perception of voters, reality parts very widely from beliefs and perceptions about crime in America. Violent crime rates peaked in the early 90's and are as low today as they were in the early 70's. The U.S. murder rate is as low as the early 60's. Pew Research did some analysis on voter beliefs and here is what they found: What is clear is that propaganda is immensely powerful in negating the efforts towards crime reduction. And the police state has an economic interest to make sure Americans feel less safe because that means they are unlikely to suffer significant budget cuts on the aggregate. This evidence should cause everyone to ponder the definition of fake news. News can be real and still be so biased and one sided that it is essentially propaganda and thus, fake.
