A shameful and embarrassing demonstration of OKGOP officials politicking today at the state capitol was on display as Edmond Pastor Paul Blair brought along former Oklahoma County DA Wes Lane, Congressman Steve Russell, and Representative Kevin Calvey to attack supporters of his primary opponent who posted objectionable comments on Facebook. You may recall that Blair tried to prevent a Mosque from being built in Edmond in 2013. In October of 2014, Blair refused to allow Muslims to sit in attendance at a town hall event advertised to the public as a discussion about Islam. Blair has also promoted nullification of marriage equality for same sex couples and has been inflammatory in expressing those views.
