Oklahoma Needs Bottom Up, Top Down Education Reform
Education, NOT Social Division, Should be the Aim With every passing day, it becomes more and more obvious why education (particularly in Oklahoma) is vitally important. Education doesn't have to come from a government school and school choices should exist for all parents who want that choice for their children. The biggest impediment to such reform is the people themselves. Both inside and outside our government schooling districts and institutions. People don't care about the children. They just don't want to be around "those" people so school districts are a convenient method to divide and segregate. In order to repair our divided and segregated society, we must dismantle the current structure of school districts. Education should be about children being educated. Not a system of social division and informal societal ranking of the economic classes.
